The Power Of Sharing.

It’s tough enough as it is
Without keeping it to yourself,
Trembling within immense fear
And confusion.
We look outside ourself
And see brightness,
Smiles
And masks.
And we weigh ourself up against
What seems to be
A perfect place,
Filled with perfect people.
And we believe,
In those moments,
Right down to our core
That we are wrong,
Faulty,
Broken,
And unfitting.
We can’t see how we fit in
To this ‘image’ of life
And we feel lost.
And then our daemons rise
To support that view,
With rigour.
Our voices suffocate us with
Desperation.
And the energetic spew,
Sometimes wordy,
Sometimes silent,
Pollutes our oh so fragile
And quivering peace.
And in those moments we believe
We are; alone
Bad,
Hopeless,
Helpless.
However, as powerful as these daemons are,
There is that force within us
Somewhere
That wants to be loved,
To feel love,
To give love,
To share love.
But it takes strength,
To manoeuvre way up and out and through.
It’s elusive,
Blocked
By unworthiness.
We can feel so outrageously under threat
By our perceived un-deserving-ness.
And we can feel so terrified and quaking and disoriented
In the power of ‘that force’,
That force that wants to;
be seen,
Be loved,
Be recognised,
BE ACCEPTED,
Just as it is
Just as we are;
Naked,
Vulnerable,
Sobbing,
With unrecognisable grief and awe.
It takes immense courage
To rise up through all that self loathing,
And self attack,
To allow that force,
That truth,
To speak.
To cry.
To share its pain.
But we need to keep doing this
Again
And
Again.
For each time we do
A healing takes place
Throughout time and space
On every level
In every heart.
Our sharing
Our willingness
Hits like a dart.
It opens us up to
Belonging once more,
As we see ourselves in others
And vice versa too
Sharing
Being vulnerable
Goes way beyond you.
In truth we’re all frightened
And needing;
Support,
Love,
Compassion,
Hearts with open doors.
The need to keep sharing
And outing ourselves
It helps us reveal our
True mental health x
We are warriors.
True light workers.
And so it is.
